Im no computer whiz !!.. somrtimes a posting is too wide for the PC screen ,..  and the only way to read it is by moving the whole screen over to be able to read each line ....... :(  :( .. hope Im not the only one that has this  :? problem !...            John...

thats because users post images too large for your screen settings.
maybe the image sizes should be limited ti 800x600 or 640x480 anyway? it'll save on bandwidth too :D

If the image is over 800x600 you *should* add it as an attachemnt to be courteous to our friends still on dialup :)

Somewhere in the directives, it said that the images were not to exceed 600 wide. It was my understanding that the system would detect the size and act accordantly, guess not.
I'm also concern with larges files... please think of all those still on dial-up. (30-100k is good enough)

In some rural areas High Speed is`nt always an option !... in my case I tried High speed which I enjoyed very much , comming from an area that it was`nt available.... but,  I ran into multiple problems and had to revert to Dial-UP !!!....its a little slower  but, Im greatful having that !...and besides,  being a senior ,.. Im not  as fast as I use to be...
I dont mind and count my blessing having what I do have !!....  including all the great folks at OVAS !...   John.

It also happens in some browsers if someone posts a long website address.

It detects the size of images that are attached but not of those that are linked to.
