Life has gotten quite busy for me over the past few weeks.  It's been over a week since I last logged onto ovas.  I expect that the rest of summer will be more of the same.  Sorry not to contribute much to your entertainment JJ.

1. plane crashes on US/Canada border with 110 people on board - where do they bury the survivors?

2. there is a roster sitting on the peek of a roof - the wind is blowing southwest where will the eggs fall?

That's all I got for ya... LMAO

You don't bury survivors and roosters don't lay eggs.

I'm not dead yet, but if you see me lying down beside a bug or a flower bed somewhere stick around for a bit.  I may need helping getting vertical again.

From May 9th, a relatively rare goose at Andrew Haydon Park (http://www.megapixeltravel.com/2011/05/andrew-haydon-park-and-the-brant-nepean-ontario/2/) and from May 10th, more tulips from Dow's Lake (http://www.megapixeltravel.com/2011/05/canadian-tulip-festival-ottawa-ontario-day-5-may-10th-2011/).  BTW Tulip beds should be at their peak for Friday, Saturday, Sunday of this week.

So yeah, I saw a guy get attacked by a goose in Kanata a few years ago. 64 stitches to the face and arms and a month of antibiotics...and he didn't provoke it.
I haz reef tanks.

Thanks for the awesome photographs, Ron. I just love Canada geese, even though they can get a little in your face up close :D
I happened on this in my travels on the Internet http://www.novakovsky.com/portfolio/ and thought of you.
Hopefully, it can entertain JetJumper too ;)

Holy crap! An animal attacks him and he didn't fight back?
A goose?
God help any goose that comes near me!!!
That goose would get cooked.
And yes, I have dealt with a rogue goose before.
lol, just kidding!!! :o >:( ;D

JetJumper

The guy must have been in shock more then anything probably due to the fact of not being prepared for a goose to attack him.  I on the other hand was ready for them yesterday on break.  I had a stick in hand! :D ready to beat the bird if it attacked me.. haha..

Disclaimer:  **No geese were hurt in the break period**

I was chased by a flock of geese once...NOT fun!!! my boyfriend at the time and I were out walking by a lake and there was a lot of trees/shrubs and when we came out on the clearing and the lake, there were a LOT of geese who were not impressed with us...we both ran as fast as we could and ended up in one of those porta-potty shacks at the park and they stayed out there for quite some time waiting for us!!! Very stinky hahaha

I've been off gardening :D yay! and watching Stargate Atlantis :D hehehe

Ron - awesome photos!!!!
55 Gallon: Zamora Woodcats, Gold Gourami, Severum, Convicts

Not dead although I feel it by the end of the day.
I'm busy in the garden too as well as doing repairs at the cottage, fencing,
and also it's kidding season :D. Lots of baby kids jumping about.

We used to have embden geese a few years back and the gander knew just where
to bite, just above the gumboots. He'd leave nice bruises and if he got
you real good he would even break the skin. Crazy creatures, especially when his mate
was sitting on eggs.
