I've heard of cats bringing gifts, but octopus' bringing gifts??

btw - there was a once of a fish store that had an octopus...and he started to realize his fish were going missing. Some expensive ones too...he thought theft...set up cameras, and it turns out the octopus was going for snacks in the middle of the night and going BACK to his own tank after he was done!! They are sneaky and will travel!! but totally awesome creatures!

You might be remembering the octopus at the Seattle aquarium who was notorious for sneaking into other tanks at night. Here is an article on the discover magazine website that says...
Some have been caught sneaking from their tanks at night into other exhibits, gobbling up fish, then sneaking back to their tanks, damp trails along walls and floors giving them away.

That is one neat video.  I have never seen an octupus out of water so seeing one move around so easily was quite the surprise.

I totally forgotten about the aquarium!! the fish store had the same issue too!! they started locking all the octopus tanks :D it was a lfs back home :)
