10g ideas?

I decided I wanted to have fish in my 10g tank again so I now have a school of 7 neon tetras but I was wondering what people think will go well with these little guys.

Whits clouds like colder water temps than neons. Go the betta route, or if you do weekly 10% water changes then I would go with an apistogramma

Appisto's definetly should try and get a few of those guys. Completely forgot about them. Has anyone been to big ALS lately and know the price of the top of their head?

I wouldn't push it. They need good water quality and lots of hiding places. I would hold to two at most.

Seven neons in a 10g is probably the limit for that tank, especially if you have decor, driftwood, rocks or gravel, you probably only have about 7 gallons of water in there. Also, did you just set up the tank and put seven neons to begin with? Because you probably won't want to add more fish until you're done cycling the tank (approx 45 days).

I was at BA on Innes about two weeks ago looking at some of their apistos and they had apistogramma cacatuoides double red for 14.99$-15.99$ I believe. They had what seemed like a nice male, about an inch and a half.

As I got closer to the tank to take a look at them, buddy flared up his fins as if to show me how who was the boss LOL I wanted to get that fish ON THE SPOT but unfortunately my tank is not cycled yet 

I don't know if they still have them but it's worth giving them a call.

The tank has been running with fish and plants for two years. I decided to move my convicts to a 20g and try just a community 10g.
