Where do you guys buy your K-Cups?

I am thinking there has to be some good deals out there... I just have not been able to find them yet.

My wife continues to search for the best prices on these things too. Without a doubt, best price is at Costco, but as with most things there, selection is limited.

I'd be willing to pay quite a bit if I could get the Dunkin' Donut flavours in any store. Only available in their restaurants and the closest one to us is in Montréal.

rgauvin

For variety, tweed and hickory hands down. They have almost every flavor under the sun, and the boxes are open, so you can mix and match and try flavors without committing to an entire box.

This place is in Burlington, ON:

Not too shabby if you want to buy either singles or whole boxes. Tweed and Hickory isnt a bad place and I have gone in a few times to make myself a few variety packs.  Costco and walmart sell just plain boxes of the stuff and reasonable prices.  If you want a variety online or Tweed is where you want to be

NjOyRiD

we buy ours on their website!
its been coupek years we do that
we got crazy discounts now

they have dunkin donut and starbucks now

Tweed & Hickory (or as I call them, Twigs & Berries) is great.  I ordered online, and you get a free gift for ordering lots.  The variety online is great, and I've heard that the variety in the store is good too.  Individual cups are 75 cents each, I believe.

Always keep your eyes open for sales.  Futureshop regularly has them buy 2, get 1 free.  I was told that Keurig's website had a sale last week where if you buy 2, they'd ship 2 free.  Right now, they have free shipping for orders > $45.

I stocked up with a bunch of sales and special holiday boxes before Christmas, and my wife won't let me buy any more until I'm down under 100 cups... I had to build a coffee cellar for my 400+ K Cups. ::)

All that said - if you want coffee cheaper than 75 cents each, go buy one of those "My K-Cup" things.  It takes your normal, ground coffee - which you can get ALOT cheaper than 75 cents per cup. ;)  I have one, and it works well enough.

We SHOULD start a Keurig coffee rating thread, since there are so many flavors out there - and it'd be nice to know which ones to avoid... For instance -- Timothy's Kahlua flavored coffee is horrid.  Who'd have thought to make a coffee flavored liqueur flavored coffee?  I know - someone who needs to get punched.  It smells interesting, but the taste is awful.  I had a Vanilla-Nut one on the weekend that just tasted like it had too much almond extract in it - and nothing more.

Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee is awesome, as is her Mudslide one.  AND - if  you're fortunate to see it somewhere, there is a Chai Latte available from "Cafe Escapes" that is comparable to Starbucks'.

I don't use them myself but if I am not mistaken I saw some in the Canadian Tire on Carling near the meeting (that's right they have a grocery section there). No idea of the price but it might be worth a look

JetJumper

Cheapest I have ever gotten them for is $0.45ea with shipping.  That was fro french vanilla.

Canadian Tire has Van Houte mostly.  $9.99 for 12, if I remember right.  So - average price..  You can usually find them at Farm Boy for $9.99 for 18 on sale.  They have Emeril's Big Bold Easy (mmmmm) and usually a decent assortment of "regular" flavors.

We get our day to day coffee at Costco (Timothy's and Van Houte) for 50 cents a cup. We also use Tweed and Hickory once a month to get a box of specialty to add some variety.

I have a few boxes of the dunkin donuts that my sister got for us when she was in the states in December, but they were stupid expensive considering that it's dunkin donuts.

I really like the Gloria Jeans ones already mentioned, as well as most of the wolfgang puck line...especially the Jamaica Me Crazy and the Hawaiian Hazelnut.

For those of you that plant gardens in the spring...k-cups make fantastic seedling containers for vegetables. Just let them dry out for a day then peel back the foil and drop a few seeds in and add some water. The acidity from the coffee grinds is perfect for tomatoes and you offset the fact that they aren't recyclable by growing plants that help the environment.  Also when you eat the veggies you offset the fuel it would normally take to get them to your grocery store. Not to mention home grown is always better.  I just started a few batches of spring onions and I'll get working on heirloom tomatoes after that.
I haz reef tanks.

BRILLIANT!  I am going to start saving my cups now!

I like a stronger, full-bodied coffee so we get Van Houtte's dark French roast. It is as good as any coffee shop coffee, if not better. We bought it for the Christmas holidays and it was a big hit. You can get it pretty much anywhere, including Wal-Mart. It's about $12 for an 18-pack, which works out to 66¢ per cup. They have it at Costco, according to their website, and it is the same price as all the Keurig coffees on the site ($65 for 96 k-cups) which works out to 67¢ each. http://www.costco.ca/Common/Search.aspx?whse=BCCA&topnav=&search=keurig&N=0&Ntt=keurig&cm_re=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search&lang=en-CA

The Timothy's and Van Houte ones they have in the store are $40 for 80 cups, or 50¢ per cup, and they are both very good as well.

Hi,
It's been FOREVER since I've posted here!
OMG!

I had to chime in here.

KCups are best purchased at Keurig.com.
Buy $45 or more worth of Kcups and the shipping is free, fast and painless.
If you recently bought your brewer, or even not, register it on thier site and you become part of the 'club'. with that you get a discount or club price on all the products.
under $15 for a box of 24 is a very decent price and the selection is RIDICULOUS.

We usually order 3 boxes and a 5-pack sampler which puts us up to about $47. Lasts us about a month when we do it all over again.
PLUS if you have a set order youlike you can have it automatically ship and charge you every month or as often as you like.
PLUS you get club points that can go towards products in thier club catalog.

Anyways, That's what we do and it's worked out best of any other locations we've looked at.
Being in the East End, getting to tweed and hickory is not convienient, but i understand you can buy singles there to get a grand mix of types. That is cool though.

delslo

My favorite is the Italian roast, but I haven't found it at a good price yet.

I'm told that Bed,Bath and Beyond has a good selection and there's often a coupon in the paper. I'm not near to one so haven't looked. I love the idea of using the cups for seedlings.  I see how much waste is generated and shake my head.....

Ben_ohare

you can buy "lots" on ebay, like big packs, i sometimes get my t-disk's on there
