The cave 'big daddy' took over is very low to the substrate, so I can't see inside. He seems to be hanging his face out of the cave, and leaving his body inside. Could he just be hogging the cave, or is it possible he is fanning eggs that I can't see? Do the females have anything to do with the eggs or is it a boys only thing?
I didn't see any spawning happening, but since I put the cave in there 4 days ago, he has been in it and hasn't left for anything, except to stick out his bristles at passersby :p

Only the males tend the eggs, and what you are seeing sounds like he is doing just that!

Yep you're right! Was just checking him out again and he was actually laying upside down in the cave and waving like crazy :)

Neat!  You will soon see wee ones, and they are so cute  :)

I can usually see some babies... by flashing a flashlight into the cave!
Crazy how they can breed!!!

I just tried this and can't see anything yet (although the male is blocking most of the entrance so I can't see much) is it possible that they are still on the roof of the cave? I saw the female go in with him a few days ago, and they did this weird upside down wiggle together, their mouths were outside the cave and they had their mouths wide open. It was the strangest thing. Maybe they were spawning?

completely irrelevant to this post..just wanted to say that I love your profile pic!  ;D too cute.
