Dear OVAS members,
At this year's BBQ, your executive would like to recognize those of you who breed or have bred any pure strains of fish in the last year or so. Even if you only breed one type of fish continuously, or breed your fish without having a successful brood raised; we believe you should be recognized for your efforts. This also gives our members a chance to help our Breeding Awards Program to excel once again and spark more interest within our aquatic community.
This also applies to anyone interested in the Aquatic Horticulturist Awards Program. Meaning anyone who has successfully propagated any 'true' aquatic plants in their aquarium or pond, over the last year may enter.
For all our SALTY friends; although we do not have a running Marine Achievement Program (yet), we would like to recognize your efforts as well. If you have corals you have propagated, or marine fish/invertebrates you have successfully bred in the past year, please feel free to submit your entries!
There will be framed certificates presented to those who qualify, as well as the opportunity to win gift certificates from one of our sponsors! All members who receive a certificate will be put into a draw to win one of many gift certificates available!
Please note that this opportunity ONLY applies to paying OVAS club members, who are in good standing with the club. No businesses are allowed to participate.
Entries will be accepted until May 31, 2012.
For more information, or to enter your fish/plants/corals, please pm or email our BAP/AHAP Chair, Jasmine Landriault.

this would be great to see some of the salties in this as well... though I'm not fragging my corals at the moment, i know many are and this is a great opportunity to showcase that work.

How does one "submit your entry?"  is there a form?  Do you post photos?

YES PLEASE!! We would love to see the salties join in on this! This is an area we would like to have grow in the club!

The best way to submit, would be to pm me (freshfishies) with information regarding what you want to enter, pictures help for sure (but with species names please, because I have yet to perfect my marine anything identification skills!) If I need more info from you at that point I will let you know!
