There's a-plenty to see...

Big Al's locations in Scarborough (Kennedy Road), Missassauga, and North York (nice mature Aulonocara peacocks). Oakville was nice too but moving out.

Mike Bandura's Finatics also on Kennedy Road is a personal favorite for cichlids.

Chinatown has Lucky's (not sure if he's still open given the criminal charges of illegal importation into US).

Pet Menagerie on Parliament has some nice plants and various freshwater fish.

Aqua Inspiration in Markham - the guys who came in January (or was it February?) to demonstrate a planted tank - a must for planted tank enthusiasts.

I also found the following thread on the GTA Aquaria forum which provides a pretty good list of LFS:

I`m already down here. I`m staying up in Burlington for 3 week. So I can stop by all the fish store and check out what they have make a list of what I want.

I already went to the Big Al in Sauga and the fish store next to it. I got to say Big Al in Sauga is impressive!!!!

Haven`t had the time to check out any other place yet till the weekend come along

Are you in Ottawa?  I was at the Big Al's store in the east a few nights ago and they have dwarf cories...not sure if they are the same or not?

I highly recommend visiting Big Al's in Scarborough (Kennedy just south of 401). Apparently it's the largest BAs in Canada. They have two floors and the selection is amazing. Anything you see on the BA website they will carry it, including dog, cat, reptile etc. The other place you will not be disappointed in is Aqua Inspiration also on Kennedy, they have some amazing planted display tanks.

All good choices :)

Finatics has lots of adult fish so you can see their colouration now, not have to wait for 6 months as with juveniles ;)

Menagerie - if only just for the quirkiness of an independent store :)
