Carbo Plus Co2 Sytem

I'm thinking about purchasing a Carbo Plus Co2 System instead of the full tank/reg etc. etc. system and I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it?

I'd be using it for my 60gal freshwater planted aquarium (of course  :wink: ).

I haven't personally used one.

But the word on all the planted forums is avoid, avoid, avoid

It rips through your kH to create available carbon.  Can really mess with your water chemistry.

Dom:  Why not do a DIY setup with the Yeast/pop bottle?  I just set one up and it's really easy.

apparently very messy to change the block too.

i will add , the block become very dirty very fast and reduce by this the usage and co2 distribution.
