It is good to know that OVAS still has the lounge
Thread open to everyone. I just want to vent the sadness and heart break  I feel
Due to the euthanetion of my beloved schenauzer yesterday.
I realize this is a fish club, but as most refers we also enjoy life
With other animals such as cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents and
Ofcourse fish. One can only feel the emptiness and sadness
When a beloved pet is gone.  and know that many members here
Have other pets. All I can say is love and enjoy your pets when u
Have them because when they are  gone they leave forever.
Take care fellow reefer and fish hobbiest and love your pets
As much as u can.

Difficult times for sure, they love us unconditionally and then we are
left with the hardest decision of all time.
Being a vet tech and a companion to various animals,
I understand fully your sadness and don't look forward to making
these decisions myself in the future.

Sorry to hear that. Losing a pet is no different than losing a family member. You've already done the right thing by deciding to share it with others. Express it, talk about it, let it out anyway you can. This helps coming to terms with it.

Loosing a good friend which is also taken as our kid is hard to
Get over , but remembering the good times and the 10.5 years
He gave us is much more pleasant than  thinking of him not
