Here is some info comparing the Fluval fx5 to the Eheim pro3 http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?68458-REVIEW-Fluval-FX5-vs-Eheim-Pro3-compared if I was to replace my Marineland C360 that is very quiet I would go for the Eheim myself.

There are some reviews on Big Al's online.

It was on sale a few weeks ago also when I was at that store.

I have five eheim canister filters, and one fluval canister, and nothng compares to Eheim. Aside from being German engineered/designed, the parts are superior quality than fuval's and the units (when maintained properly) last for years.

If your looking for a good price on an Eheim Pro 3 J&L aquatics from Vancouver have a good price on one and includes free shipping on anything over $100.00

I've ordered from there before and have had great service and fast shipping.

I'm running 5, FX5s and another one waiting to be set up.
I like them for huge tanks but I also like Eheims for smaller tanks.
