scarlet badis sick?

Not so much of an emergency.one of my badis has had a messed up tail for as long as I can remember.  I can't seem to figure it out.he swims and eats fine.any suggestions anyone?

Looks to me like a deformed tail. Tails should heal back to normal in most cases. If there is no white fuzz around the 'tear' then it not infected. Looks vibrant and healthy to me - chuck it off as it being unique Dont go round telling people that you have a double-tail scarlet badis though :p

On a serious note it has now been in a tank by itself since Oct 24.no change.suggestions? Its in a planted tank by itself with cherry shrimp.

It usually takes a few month to grow back together. Unless there is a ray missing. In that case it might not grow back at all.
