Yesterday, I found a dwarf cory stuck to the intake of my Aquaclear 150.  Luckily it was still alive but I can't alway be watching them.

Any recommendations on a filter or a tip I can do to keep them from getting sucked in again?

TIA.

Alternatively you can get a sponge and just cut out the inside of it and stick it onto the intake tube as well. One of those coarser sponges (Big Al's usually has 'em at the front counter). Also I've seen this product before. Says its for the powerheads but might work for the filter too:

A simple solution is to just use a filter sponge, cut an X in the centre and shove
it over the intake.
Only trouble is you have to make sure the sponge is rinsed
regularly since they do clog up.

The sponge is the most cost effective method.  Odd that it got sucked in though.  Are you sure it was healthy to begin with?  How long have you had them?

Another solution is to turn down the water flow of the filter.

The cory was just stuck to the side of the intake and not up it.

I guess I can try the lower setting for the filter and see what happens.
