Hey guys

I started this EBI back in December inspired by all the great planted tanks I have seen. I have also been following the guide lines of an aquarium start up app (tropica) which is great help as I am fairly new to the hobby.

Specs:
Stock filter with a bag of purigen.
Light is stock as well, on for 8 hours a day.
Fluval stratum for substrate.
Weekly 25% to 30% water changes.
No co2.
No fertilizers.

Live stock:
4 cardinal tetras
2 RCS
2 Amano shrimp
1 oto

As for plants I am unsure of the names of the plants I got as some where given to me and some where blindly bought.

I am now on day 40 or so and I am very much looking forward to see how the tank matures as well as possibly starting up a new tank with more room to play with. I have attached the most recent picture.

Any constructive and positive feed back welcomed.

Thank you,

I like it! I'm a big fan of the nano planted tanks, and fluval makes nice seamless 7.9g tanks. Are you using the stock light? And, what kind of substrate and ferts are you using?
Eric...
125g, 32g, 7g

They are very nice. At the moment I'm running the stock light yes. As for substrate I have a small bag of fluval stratum in there. It made it a little difficult to plant at first but I got the hang of it. I am also not dosing any fertilizers or co2.
