An overview of what the water quality parameters in reef tanks should be ... and more ...

The above ones are the so-called "critical" ones but the article contains a lot more info for you to be aware of and take into account

Note : the proportion of magnesium to calcium should be around 3:1 meaning for instance Calcium 420 ppm and Magnesium 3x that ppm or 1260 ppm. If Ca is at 450 the Mg should be around 1350 ppm

Why am I bringing this up? For the simple reason that a number of Hobbyists and Authors, on various forums, have brought up the fact that if that ratio diverges too much from the 3:1 that it is not unusual for SPS corals to develop STN ... of course there are many causes/reasons given and postulated for STN and RTN and that is just one of them

The Nano Reef Newsletter Issues 22 and 23 cover Coral Polyp Tissue Necrosis in great detail ... and those who have a free subscription to it will probably have read the many pages on it in Issue 22 already. issue 23 will be released in a few days.  More info on the Newsletter on my web site www.nanoreefs.info where you can find out more info and also how to subscribe if you do not own a printed copy of my book.

Nice to see the info as a single chart.

Yes indeed, laying it out that way with a comparison the NSW is good way to make it clearer
