Can anyone donate some filter media?

I live in the west end of Ottawa, would there be anyone kind enough to donate some filter media for my eheim 350  I've had this thing running for 2 weeks and ammonia doesn't go over .24 with a bunch of tagalong snails in it, and I really don't want to do a fish cycle, and can't find ammonia anywhere that's not lemon scented
