On a related note, met Amazonas Editor Hans-Georg Evers at the 2012 Ohio Cichlid Association Extravaganza. He is very passionate about conservation and provided an overview of the devastation of natural habitats in Brasil. It is tragic that their government is allowing this to happen, and at the same time, limiting exports when hobbyists could ensure the survival of many species.
