My next door neighbor has a 90 gallon turtle tank with two turtles and has an eheim 2215 filter that he says gets clogged in days.  I am assuming he is not using the right media for this application.

Anyone have advice on how to make a 2215 work well for a turtle tank?

Having no experience with turtles I am thinking just sponges and floss and a sponge prefilter?

Anyone with experience?

I came across this site on turtle filtration awhile back.  It seems to suggest that a 2215 is insufficient for a 90 gallon.
