Hi everyone, i just got back from big al's. I am sure some already know this. The boxing day sale it a bit of scam. First of add 10 bucks the the advertised boxing day price as the mail in rebate is for 10 bucks. On top of that in big bold letter on the link then sent you to when you get home, you are only allowed 1 rebate per address. So if you are like who bought 4 buckets, in order to get the advertised price for all my salt I need 4 different address with 4 different names. I have noticed its getting worse every years. As last year it was only a 5 dollar rebate and you where I believe allowed 3 per address. Just wanted to warn everyone.

I don't bother with mail in rebates anymore.  It's just another way for companies to get a hold of your name and contact info and resell it to the highest bidder.  The fact that they require four different names/addresses for each of your buckets kind of shows this.

i was there yesterday and bought some stuff i needed anyway.  I got 20% off everything i bought and a 10 buck coupon that can be applied to anything i buy by the end of January as long as i buy 50 bucks worth of stuff.  there was no mail in involved.  this was in west end store.

Apparently the coupon must be received by December 31st as well...and can be applied to salt purchased anywhere..cheers !!
