Pet Expo

Hiya folks,
OVAS is going to have a booth at the Ottawa Pet Expo in November 10 and 11. It is a great way for the club to add some exposure, and possibly recruit new members.
We are looking for a few volunteers to help out, in about 4 hour blocks either Saturday or Sunday.
The bonus is that you get free access to the show for the day.
The show on Saturday run 9 to 6, and Sunday 10 - 5.
We could also use help with setting up (friday) and tearing down Sunday.
Our ideal plan is to have one exec and one member at all times, so we always have someone at the booth.
It is pretty easy, just show up and talk about your hobby and the club. It makes for a fun day.

Please let us know if you are available and what time you would be able to help out at.

I will volunteer for the day on Saturday. I can hopefully help with set up or other things during the day.

Is there any possibility of anyone picking me up? I live in the West end on Craig Henry Drive - otherwise I will have to rent a car.

@kalinakat I'm helping on the afternoonsifht on the Saturday. I can most probably give you a ride there if you are helping with the same shift.

I will be coming from the Gloucester/Orleans direction in the morning, so the opposite way for a pick up unfortunately.

If any member would like to set up a display tank ,please post here.
The set up and tear down of the tank will be entirely your responsibilty.
The OVAS booth will be 20X10 ft , so we can fo with a few more displays.

I have volunteered my 9g fluval flex, but... I'll be at the Montreal auction and won't be around for Sunday tear down.

Is there someone on the east end (Orleans or nearby) that would be able to dismantle (drain and carry) a 9g tank Sunday after the expo?

I would pick up the tank/bucket and fish Sunday night 8/9pm. Please comment on here or PM for more details.
The alternative is I shut down on Saturday.
