10 Gallon Nano Flow

Hi all, excited to be getting in to this hobby! Just curious to get some advice on how to set up the correct flow in my 10 gallon (hopefully soon to be!) mixed reef tank. I plan to keep softies, lps, and 2-3 small fish. I currently just have dry rock and sand in the tank at the moment along with my filter and heater running. Just finished nitrogen cycling the tank. Is something like a Koralia Nano 425 a good start? Or would something more like a laminar wave maker make sense? My tank is also taller than it is wide.
