A fish-friendly reminder from the Ottawa Valley Aquarium Society…

We have a haunting presentation brewing for Monday night that will heighten your senses to creepy and crawly things!

Presentation

(Exo)skeletons are Spooky, Right?: Fun with Vampire Crabs [Alyssa Gonzalez]

Hot on the heels of last month’s talks about adding houseplants and aquaponics to the aquarium experience, Alyssa Gonzalez will be giving us a tour of the life history, husbandry, and general delights of vampire crabs, a recent addition to the pet trade that is getting a lot of attention lately. Alyssa promises to bring her characteristic thoroughness and humour. Hallowe’en costumes are optional!
