We are jumping into February with a fantastic showcase on killifish, we hope you can join us!

 

Killifish [Fadi Naddeh]

We are pleased to welcome Fadi Naddeh, from Daffy’s Reptiles (and podcast, Daffy’s Roundtable) to our club. Fadi has extensive experience and success breeding fish, reptiles, and amphibians. He will be sharing his adventures with various killifish species. Killifish are generally known for their colorful appearance and unique breeding incubation; they are represented on 5 continents.

 

Members’ Corner

All members are invited to showcase their aquarium related projects and discoveries at our meetings! You or an executive member can present your photos, videos, or other content of up to 5 minutes. Please talk to the exec about submitting your content.

Members are encouraged to set up vendor tables, so bring some cash if looking to shop.
OVAS will have fish bags available for purchase: 25 for $3 / 50 for $5.

We are looking for a whole raft of volunteers to help out, we can use all the help we can get. Please see this POST for more information on volunteer positions. Volunteers can arrive as soon as 8:00am.

Auction starts at 11:00am
Doors open at 9:00am
Item drop and labelling will run from 9:00am to 10:30am.
Only pre-registered auction items will be accepted, register items HERE.
Cash and cards will be accepted at the auction; there is no ATM on site.

OVAS memberships can be renewed for the 2024-2025 season at monthly meetings or online (PayPal). Current memberships will expire on September 30, 2025

This is a FREE event sponsored by the Ottawa Valley Aquarium Society. Anyone with an interest in aquariums and related hobbies is welcome to attend. OVAS presentations are a great place to meet other aquarium hobbyists, exchange ideas and learn more about fish and aquatic plant keeping.
