However please be advised that this meeting will be starting a bit earlier than usual, 6:00 pm and will run until 8:00 pm.  With the possibility of a late supper with Tommy at a location TBD.

Tommy Lam from Shrimp Fever will be returning with another talk on shrimp.  It will be a general talk with a focus on disease.  It will be in the form of a more open ended discussion.  Any enquiries related to purchases should be made to Tommy directly however he has agreed to hand deliver any shrimp orders to the talk and will be offering a 10% on non-sale items.

If any club members are keeping shrimp or considering doing the same, this would be a great opportunity to get perspectives from Tommy on shrimp keeping as well as do's and d'onts. I have benefited from his advice in the past. Please come out and join us on the 27th.

Cheers

I can't wait for this one! Don't forget that Tommy is willing to bring orders with him!

Yup - I placed an order for Black Pinto, Black Zebra Pinto, Extreme Blue Bolts, Red Zebra Pinto, Red Panda and Shadow Pandas. They will all be part of a breeding project for the next year.

It was a great few hours spent at the shrimp fever presentation.
Thanks the executiveand Tommy for doing this .
On another note it was both disappointing and discouraging at the poor attendance, 2 people from Montreal took the time to drive and attend this event, but our local hobbyist did not support it.
Folks the executive can't continue to dedicate the effort , time and money to do such presentations if we continue with this type of attendance, let's get motivated and get involved.

Jody

How many people ended up coming out for the event?

UUnfortunately just too much going on this weekend for me to make it out,  though I would have liked to attend.

Jody

My best guess 15? Including Tommy's guest and the 2 from MTL
For me it ranked among the better presentations for the season

would have loved to come, but had family in from out of town arrive yesterday.
Mom of boys. Less drama than girls, but harder to keep alive

Great talk that went for 2 hours. Exited the hall at 9 PM. Tommy answered questions for 45 minutes +.  Very informative. Half of his presentation was on shrimp illness and diseases.

Jody

Not sure who dropped off the signs for Tommy's talk but because of it,  we may have a new member coming to tonight's meeting.
