THIS MONTH IS SHRIMPUARY: PRESENTATION & SALE!

I. SHRIMP AND HOW TO KEEP THEM BY SID ARNOLD

This month's presentation will feature Sid Arnold who will discuss Neocaradina and Caradina shrimp. His presentation will include:

- Basic rules to live by in shrimp keeping
- Equipment that you need
- Substrate
- Water Chemistry
- Additives and Food Supplements

Sid is extremely knowledgeable about keeping and breeding Neocaradina and Cardina Shrimp. His education and work experience has been as a fish biologist and has worked for Fisheries & Oceans Canada. He is currently employed as a biologist with Health Canada.

As usual, there is no attendance fee, and all who are interested may attend.


II. SALE AND AUCTION

Members are invited to bring anything shrimp related to sell.  You can choose to sell your items garage sale style, or if you're feeling lucky, you can sell them by auction!

Anything shrimp or shrimp related can be sold,

SUCH AS:

- shrimp (fresh or saltwater)
- plants
- small tanks
- decorations
- snails
- feeding dishes
- filter intake covers
- shrimp foods
- botanicals
- any other items related to the keeping & breeding of shrimp

IF YOU'D LIKE TO PARTICIPATE:

- Entrance & auction bidding is free for everyone.
- OVAS members pay $1/lot for auctioned items.
- Non-members pay $2/lot for auctioned items.
- Garage sale tables are free for OVAS members.
- Garage sale tables are $5 for non-members.
