POTM opinions

I'm curious to know what people think of the small change to the POTM contest the past couple of months - having a theme rather than an open contest.  I'm not sure we can come up with enough different themes to fill the year, but I would like to know what you think.

I think it is cool, and would find it acceptable if themes repeated as required.

I also think it's a great idea. I don't see a problem with themes repeating either, after all we there are only so many themes we could have before we'd have to resort to "best substrate photo" or "best filter shot"......don't think those contests would be much fun.

I have some pretty sweet looking substrate, I had my fingers crossed for that theme to come up lol. No I also think it is a good idea

I think the theme idea is working very well.  Maybe make one for the people with smaller tanks, 10 gallon to 30 gallon.

As mentioned there is many themes so I cant see having to over lap for a while yet.

The themes are great!!  There are so many topics that can be used that a repeat might not even be needed!

Freshwater Tank, Salt Water Tank, Freshwater fish Close-up, Saltwater Fish Close-up, Catfish, African cichlid, SA Cichlid, Clown Fish, Anemone close-up, Soft Coral close-up, Freshwater crustacean, Salt water crustacean,  ponds, pond fish close-up, Fish pic from a vacation, etc.
